Once we’d designed the Atkin Tenor guitar, we wondered what would happen if we used the same body shape to build a six-string guitar. The result is the Troubadour, a sweet sounding, easy playing and highly portable acoustic. The Troubadour has a 24-inch scale and is tuned to standard pitch. The nut width is the same as a full-size guitar too, so there’s no compromise in playability. We designed the Troubadour as a no-compromise travel guitar, putting the build quality and tone of our existing range into a more convenient and compact package. But it’s just as likely to be chosen by guitarists seeking a comfortable playing companion they can keep close to hand in their office, living room or studio.
