1993 Gilchrist Model 5, in excellent condition for its age! Stephen Gilchrist is a luthier from Warrnambool, Australia, the most prolific and well-revered modern mandolin builder. This beautiful, hand-crafted instrument is in the style of a Lloyd Loar F-5, specially made for Grammy Nominated, Bluegrass mandolinist, Tom Rozum - best known for his partnership with Laurie Lewis. Red Spruce top, maple back and sides, finished in tobacco. Parallel braced top. There's a small crack repair in the scroll. Purchased from Carter's Vintage Guitars. Includes Calton flight case.
