This Nick Lucas style flat top is to die for, constructed by the legendary Wayne Henderson - one of the most widely respected luthiers on the planet, going so far as to be awarded a National Heritage Fellowship at the White House for his extraordinary instrument making. This stunning guitar features an Adirondack Spruce top and one piece old growth Mahogany back and sides, the only one he has made with these wood configurations, the Mahogany had ben saved by Wayne for years. Absolutely featherweight and sounds out of this world. Wayne Henderson is best known for being the subject of "Clapton's Guitar: Watching Wayne Henderson Build the Perfect Instrument", outlining the process of his making of an OM for Eric Clapton, as well as building guitars for artists such as Tommy Emmanuel, Doc Watson, Peter Rowan and Gillian Welch.
